Volunteer Spotlight - Carlton Barrett

Chances are if you have been around CFC for a while, you know who Carlton is! Our Students certainly do! Carlton has been attending CFC for 27 years and has been serving with students in Junior and Senior High for 22 of those years! Carlton also serves in Frontline as a Church Closer.

Best Part of Volunteering: I enjoy working with kids and pointing them to God.

Hardest Part of Volunteering: Sometimes it is hard to get kids to talk and interact in a small group.

Why do you think it’s important to serve in the Church?: Of all the places to Shine bright for God; the home should be the first place and church should be the second. The body of Christ is the church; which really is the people.

Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Something people at CFC may not know about you: I have been to Israel!
